Fun premise for a possible epic series of movies. Quite possibly the worst casting of an action hero in the history of Cinema. The poor casting of Major Valerian, ruined this movie for me. This is my favorite genre of movies and I could keep watching.
Dane Dehaan is not a leading actor unless you are casting someone in the roll of a sickly, weak, high school aged heroine addict. His acting lacks conviction and delivery. A stronger actor would have carried Cara Delavingne's attempt to be a likeable badass soldier character.
