Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Simon M — 11 Aug 2017
Well, that's two hours of my life I won't get back. Wooden acting by Dane DeHaan, the constant smirking, I just wanted to punch him. Luc Besson, director of Fifth Element, how could you be associated with this dire film.
While the opening scenes were admittedly brilliant, the moment the title character appeared it was bang bang flash trying to make up for wooden acting and mumbled lines.
