I really wanted to like this movie. I saw the low ratings but I put them off as critics not liking a fun movie.
Boy was I wrong. The acting is sub par. The characters are not developed at all and have no chemistry. The plot is overly bloated and complicated. It seems like the creator wanted to tell all these little stories so he fit in multiple different adventure within one without developing any of them.
The dialogue was atrocious and extremely cheesy. I dont want to even get started on the 3 aliens who knew everything and conveniently where always there to help move the plot.
At its core its a rehashed story with so much emphasis on showing you a colorful and detailed alien universe that it forgets to tell a coherent or enjoyable story.
