Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Amy R — 09 Dec 2017
I wish they'd cast lead actors who had some chemistry and who could create somewhat compelling characters. Both leads are dull dull dull. Without the undercurrent of believable romance, all the action and effects still leave you feeling stagnant.
Unnecessarily LONG - boring scenes ate up tons screen time, especially with nothing character-driven to keep you enticed. I felt like I was watching a roller coaster ride for hours from the sidewalk, not actually riding it myself.
