Overall, I thought the movie was a good sci-fi movie. Personally, I would have chosen a different set of actors to play the two main characters. I didn't care for their performance, or at least valerian. At the end of the day we're all entitled to our opinions.
That's my initial thought. I'm sure I'll have a change of heart once I see it a few more times.
