Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Jordan S — 05 Aug 2017
Valerian has a somewhat confusing introduction, however this lackluster start was made-up for with the very strong second and third acts. Throughout Valerian sexual tension is built between Valerian and Laureline that does a fine job of keeping you wondering about their future together.
Valerian also brilliantly builds plot-based tension as more and more evidence is brought to the audiences attention that seems to show that the area of radiation isn't what it has been made-up to be.
