Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Dana D — 27 Jul 2017
It grew on me. Take this as a light, frothy summer tidbit and it stands on its own. I wanted the film to slow down in some scenes so that I could appreciate the spectacle. The casting is very unusual for something like this and even that added to the oddities.
I would go see a sequel. It couldn't be worse than Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
