Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Tech L — 28 Jul 2017
A throughly enjoyable film. Richly textured that you need to see it twice or three times to take it all in. I felt Ghost in the Shell was a work of art but this was a $200 million dollar magnum opus! The imagination and ideas of this film were very well thought out and the people who worked on it were real artists.
The number of different races represented in the film was staggering. Some people booed the plot for being too simple and while it was a bit slow in spots it was well-acted and kept up a decent pace.
