Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Ziv E — 29 Sep 2017
Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets is like a crash between haif of these planets into ours with some good visuals, but a story and characters that definitely need more work, weak action and a identity crisis.
This is pretty much the embodiment of disappointment.
It's directed by the director of The 5th Element, it's very french, it's a Sci-Fi flick, it starts off with space history, it's got a notable voice cast, it looks good and it's rated PG-13.
How can this be made worse?
That's very simple:
If there's a why, there's a way, as well as a Burning Medallion Of Badness in this case.
Story: 2|10.
Visuals:7|10.
Characters:3|10.
Overall:4|10.
I may have been negative to EVERY MOVIE I WATCHED THIS MONTH, but don't worry.
Next week's movie won't be NEARLY as bad as ANY of the movies I reviewed this month... And by that, I mean IT'S GONNA BE MUCH WORSE.
I don't have to let you TRY to guess which movie it is.
