Fact: 1982 Siskell & Ebert said Blade Runner was a "waste of time". Then it went on to become one of the most iconic sci-fi fliks- which is due to welcome a much applauded sequel. As a result, experience has taught me not to always think critics "get it".
Overall, It was a fun sci-fi movie. If you hated 5th Element don't see this. I enjoyed it as something fun and entertaining- nothing more, nothing less - pure escapism.
