This is an amazing movie with gorgeous visuals, crazy characters and non stop action. I feel Hollywood is trashing it on purpose, since it's not a Hollywood movie, get it? Valerian and his "partner" has access to incredible futuristic tech throughout the movie; it gives it a feel of a proper science fiction.
Something many science fiction pretend to be flicks completely lack. Go watch it, you will love it!
