What a bizarre world Hollywood has become. Valerian is imaginative, creative, beautiful, and has impressive special effects. Yet, the movie is terrible. There are so many shortcomings to this movie but greatest offense is the terrible acting and dialogue.
Whatever immersion could be gained from the special effects is quickly lost through nonsensical dialogue, poor deliveries, and characters that make no sense at all.
