Review of Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008) by Hieu N — 08 Oct 2009

Not as engaging as The September Issue, but still an enjoyable doco. The movie does focus bit too much on the whole "Will he retire?!" issue (granted, the title does have The Last Emperor in it, so that should have been clue number one!), and a big chunk of the last third focusing solely on the preparations and event of his 45-years-in-the-fashion-industry bash, but never really goes deeper into who he is, or even the way he works, or anything interesting like that.
