Review of Valentine's Day (2010) by Paula R — 31 May 2011
An all star cast getting together with Garry Marshall for another one of he's rom comms. It's cute in some places, and I think the film generally works. But theres one or two too any stories being told in this film, so it does somewhat seem all over the place.
I'm glad Shirley MacLaine is in this, because it does balance it out more, and she's as super as always. Taylor Swift is cute and impressive, and in my opinion Emma Roberts can do no wrong. This is not one of Garry Marshalls strongest film, and definitely I doubt it wont be one of his most memorable.
But it gives a few strong messages, and it is watchable.
