Review of Valentine (2001) by Carnival — 19 Apr 2021
The ending where Kate is attacked by the Cherub, who is promptly shot to death by Adam and then unmasked to be Dorothy, was left unexplained in the theatrical cut as it's revealed minutes later that Adam was the killer the whole time and framed Dorothy, without explaining why she's in the costume.
A deleted scene reveals that Adam had attacked and knocked out Dorothy, and then dressed her in the Cherub costume to frame her, and her "attacking" Kate was just her in a disoriented state after having been hit in the head.
It was cut for spoiling the identity of the killer.
