Review of Vacation (2015) by Lilianetty L — 19 Oct 2015
First of all I won't call this a reboot but the continue of the last 4 films (which were great in their time, how can I forget those?). Second: this cast is amazing! The script may have flaws (bits of cliches) but what saves this movie is the wonderful message behind it: if your dad sacrifices all to make you+family happy, then this movie is for him and you coz you have a hero near you (to many you's uh?).
Anyway, love also to see cameos here and there (my fave? It wasn't Chris aka Thor or Chevy Chase or Colin Hanks. My fave for real? Ryan! One of my fave british actors ever! Was so happy for him!).
En fin, it's a film I recommend to all those who grew up with the original 4 and see this as a 5th instead of a reboot. And if you won't watch it then you never had a dad hero with you (not everyone is lucky to have a dad I believe.
