Review of Vacation (2015) by Joseph F — 21 Oct 2015
There's a few laughs in Vacation, but not enough to place it in the pantheon in which Clark Griswold resides. In fact, the best moment of Vacation was when Clark, naturally portrayed by Chevy Chase, hands over the keys of the Wagon Queen in a heartfelt father-son moment.
That spells disaster for what preceded. While clueless Clark's gags were hysterical and so inconvenient, Rusty's downfalls felt forced and were too driven by his anger and emotions.
