I had the LOWEST of expectations for this. I've never been a fan of the Vacation movies, partly because I've never thought Chevy Chase was funny. This is not a GOOD movie...don't get me wrong.
Too many jokes fall flat, drag on too long, or flat out aren't funny. But the scenes with Chris Hemsworth are pretty funny and Applegate is such a great comedic actress that she lifts some of the scenes by herself.
You'll get a few laughs here and there, but overall, this isn't a vacation you want to go on.
