Review of Vacancy (1999) by Barry O — 15 Jun 2010
Performances across the board and direction are considerably more solid than in the typical film of this nature. Still, the narrative, perhaps unavoidably, feels a trifle static; and the ending undoes one of the film's best turns of the screw.
But Nimrod Antal is certainly a director to keep one's eye on. I'm looking forward to PREDATORS.
