Found this to be an A list thriller. One that was effective, disturbing, and pretty scary. The leads are good and the sense of desperation you feel for the characters is great. Beckinsale and Wilson play a couple whos marriage is on the rocks.
When their vehicle breaks down and they are forced to stay at a hotel all hell ensues. They find a videotape that shows people getting tortured in the room they are staying in. The visuals on the tv are disturbing and you sense the growing fear between the couple.
It gets a lot worse as the film goes on.
