Review of Vaastav (1999) by Pradyut V — 20 Jun 2008
Timeless beauty...watched it over and over n still love watching it again...for many rgv brand f gangster movies are d preferred brand..but give me dutt's performace ny day n I wil gleefully accept it.
..absolutely rivetting..n just cant take ur eyes off it...equally delightfl performance by both d veteran actors reema lagoo and d guy who played his father...mahesh manjrekar has alwaz been an enigma to me .
.directing such beauties in between making some unwatchable flicks...Sanjay Dutt..truly arrives with dis..forget d munnabhai series..dis s d role which defines him as an actor..his spontaneity such a refreshing act amongst d plethora of method actors stands out.
.n also d naturalness of his performance..no doubt d typical hindi film drawbacks it still suffers from are very much present...like a song breaking out in a midst f an intense scene..but everything else is excusable in front f dutt's performance.
