Review of V/H/S: Viral (2014) by Dave R — 10 Oct 2014
Following suit of its predecessors, V/H/S: VIRAL takes its great anthology premise and sloppily squashes it! This time we get one slightly entertaining segment that carelessly breaks the found-footage rules (Dante the Great), a wonderfully set up segment that ends in some ridiculous puppetry (Parallel Monsters), an able-bodied segment that quickly turns into a foul-mouthed teenagers pipe-dream (Bonestorm), and a choppy, nonsensical wrap-around to bring it all together.
Not quite as disappointing as V/H/S or insulting as V/H/S 2 - somewhere in the murky middle, where franchises usually go to die.
