Review of V/H/S: Viral (2014) by Mike H — 31 Jan 2015
Having watched the first two VHS films, this third instalment fell a bit on the average side for me. However with that being said, I did enjoy the "Parallel Monsters" segment, very eery indeed. The weakest out of the three segments I thought though was the final, "Bonestorm" segment. It just came off, near the end of the segment, as comical rather than scary.
This may be wishful thinking but I hope there is another instalment in the VHS series (although I have a gut feeling that Viral will no doubt be the final instalment) as I do like this "found footage" genre.
