Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Ville G — 29 Dec 2012

The comic book somehow passed me by in a mis-spent youth immersed in such things and the film's theatrical release did pretty much the same thing. When I did finally catch up with this, mixed emotions about the film's opening and the overall mood of the piece soon turned to intrigue and enjoyment.

I don't usually care for political commentary in film but V for Vendetta did well to mix it in with the action, eloquence and characterisation. Bravo!
