Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Chris B — 31 Mar 2013
Quite possibly my favourite film of all time. why I hear you cry? this is the only film I can truly suggest ive been to the cinema to watch, walked ou at the end and wanted to buy another ticket to watch it allover again.
.. a masterclass of the english language, Weaving is exceptional even though you never see his face, his portrayal of V is moving and personable. we can all relate to the fight in some way, shape or form.
Natalie Portman was also exceptional, one of only a few women too shave their heads for a film, heartfelt emotions, very raw in the portrayal but it was exactly what the film needed. I have also watched the Fan edit of this film following the.
original Graphic Novel... however, I feel this portrayal makes more senae than Moore's graphic expression... this is to you one film you will love or you will hate.
