Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Viktor B — 19 Jul 2013
A true classic based on the equally excellent graphic novel by Alan Moore. This film really explores the relationship between those in power and those considered below them and tears trust in the systems that be into pieces with intelligent writing, striking visuals, and compelling characters.
The politics might definitely grind the gears of those with conservative sympathies, but for everyone else, this is intelligent and thrilling. Possibly one of the best films to come out of the early 2000s period.
Simply one of the best adaptations of the medium. Do not make the mistake of not watching this one.
