Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Robert H — 28 Nov 2014
Its the Wachowski Brothers, so its going to heave awkwardly handled political ambitions. I don't think it really succeeds as a dystopian future warning movie, but it is has superb action scenes, and as a violent action movie I liked it better than any of the Matrix films, whose more over the top set pieces seemed less kinetic and imaginative to me.
A mixed bag, but some choice bits in the bag.
