Review is personal, amateurish, and has spoilers.

V for Vendetta is the comeback for the Wachowskis after the Matrix trilogy. The movie was based on the graphic novel with the same title. Though Allen Moore (Author of the graphic novel. Movie is based on this) absolutely hates this film, it is still loved many people around the world. Well, V is pretty cool Hugo Weaving's acting is very impressing. The mask of Guy Fawkes is also well known due to this movie.

The main focus of the movie is resistance against the government. The world of 'V for Vendetta' and our world are very different. It is a world where England has a fascist government during 2020 and a party called norsefire that believes in totalitarianism. There is a conflict between anarchism and fascism throughout the whole movie. V is the one representing anarchism and the English government is the one representing fascism. The government is very secret to its citizens and people. It shows nothing true and tries to trick the people by showing fake news through the channel BTN. Also, norsefire is quite similar to many aspects from George Orwell's 1984 and the beliefs of Adolf Hitler. It must be no coincidence that the High Chancellor is named 'Adam Sutler' in the movie. The government is trying to conceal everything V does in the movie. The government's sins are also revealed in the incident 14 years ago. 14 years ago, the British government killed non-white people, Muslims, gays, lesbians, in the Lark hill Prison. V was a survivor from this place and that is why he despises the government. V is the one that wishes the citizens to stand up. He desires the government to be afraid of the people, not the people be afraid of the government. V believes in anarchism and wishes to overthrow the current government. V wears a Guy Fawkes mask because they are both similar. V and Guy Fawkes both go against the government and they eventually die. However, unlike Guy Fawkes at that time, the people of England get together and take over the beliefs of V. The people stand up against the government just how V wanted.

The movie was enjoying and also wanted to tell the audience a message. It wanted the audience to also remember and stand up against what they are afraid of.
