Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Judep. — 20 Mar 2006
I found it interesting and and although I am a lefty, I didn't actually agree with all the politics side. I felt the ideas were made with rather broad strokes. However policital fiction has always taken the situation to the extreme as a method of analysing them - Animal Farm, 1984,Gulliver's travels, Swift's modest proposal for dealing with the Irish famine.
I think maybe this should be a double billing with Ghandi just to balance things out a bit. Anyone who feels that TV had to much of a prevelance should watch/read Noam Chomsky's manufacturing consent, before deciding how much our lives are dictated by the media.
