Dunno why, except those periodic Jane Austen's work pieces, contemporary UK productions (no matter of TV or movies) always sound flippant & shallow in tone to me, when comparing to Hollywood, or other European, Nordic, etc Cinemas. "uwantme2killhim?" is just another example.
The film actually is not that bad, the twist & turn at the end works on me too.
The 'based on/inspired by true story/events' thing punchline is completely meaningless to me though.
