Review of Ushpizin (2004) by Aidan B — 31 Mar 2010
An excellent little movie about faith. I loved how excited about God they got, when he was praying outside, and later when they started singing and dancing. It's also good to compare to A Serious Man, whereas here they keep praising Him no matter what, in A Serious Man they never praise Him, and just become more and more depressed.
Especially powerful and illustrated with the movies's respective endings.
