Zemeckis' follow-up to "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" is even more raucous and gleefully vulgar: a disillusioned, post-Watergate celebration of dishonesty. A sales war between between two used car lots (predating "The Goods" by almost thirty years) is played as broad as a barn by a great cast.
Russell is a no-holds-barred used car salesman wheedling and bribing his way into public office - at least, until love improves him a little bit. Some plot contrivances and the final chase bog down the last third, but it's still a lot of fun!
