Review of U.S. Marshals (1998) by Brett H — 13 Mar 2014
A fairly meh return to the Marshal characters from The Fugitive that is essentially a copycat with none of the same impact. Tommy Lee Jones is always entertaining as a fast-talking prick, but he can do this role in his sleep so it's nothing new, and the rest of the cast fill their slots fine.
The real problem is that Wesley Snipes' fugitive is not an interesting character and you don't really care if he gets caught or not. There is a twist near the end that raises this above standard-fair, but it is totally forgettable as a semi-sequel to The Fugitive.
