I’ll reiterate what I said about Get Out. Jordan Peele is a genius. But part of what made Get Out so good was its simplicity, in contrast, what makes Us so good is its ambition. Not only with its storyline, but also with its incredibly thought provoking themes.
The horror elements are also amped up making a really frightening experience. And to top it all of is Lupita Nyong’o’s amazing dual performance as Adelaide and Red.
