Review of Us (2019) by Tnilc — 25 Mar 2019
This movie had potential but it failed to live up to it, the acting was great but the story was lacking and it just felt like it was trying to be what get out was but only on a bigger stage. The dopples were efficient and deadly unless they were dealing with the Wilson family then they were inept and useless.
The twists were predictable and underwhelming. The way the dopples mimic is stupidly convenient. The dopples plan falls apart if anyone had a gun. I wanted this to be so much better but it failed to meet the high expectations I had for it.
One time watch unless im drinking and me and my friends are riffing it. Fun fact: This movie reminded me of mars attacks.
