Review of Urban Roots (2011) by Nicole F — 19 Apr 2012
I loved this film and recommend it. It was one the first few documentaries that did not have a the-world-is-ending / depressing tone. A first for a Detroit based film I'm sure. The tone was uplifting and funny and still maintained an informative perspective.
One word of caution, as a Detroiter, I am sure I am a little biased.
