The last great horror movie of the 1990's that pretty much signified the end of an era of horror that ran from the 1970's through the new millenium. Since this movie, the not-so-great era of gore has established a prevalent grip on the horror industry.
Saw, Hostel, and Devils Rejects. This movie had it all from humor, awesome plot twists, and it had that effect that many horror movies made since don't have. This movie ended a great era in horror, and other than Rob Zombie, the industry is slowly sinking.
