Review of Urban Legend (1998) by Jose M — 24 Oct 2010
Urban Legend starts off unpleasant as you're sitting there waiting for the killer to strike. The killer does and you think that it would have been better if the killer didn't show up. The film could have been a lot of things and have reflected on certain elements in life like on-campus murder, exploitation & ethics surrounding the journalism as it's wrapped around the urban legend, but instead it becomes into a formulaic slasher film and somewhere along the way you'll notice who the killer is and the motivation.
Of course, you'll also know who will survive (final girl) and kill the killer.
