Review of Urban Legend (1998) by Andrew L — 10 Jan 2013

This is an alright movie. While this movie has an interesting concept for a slasher movie, it doesn't do a whole lot to be clever. In some ways it pokes fun at the horror genre by using the concepts of urban legends as the reason for the murders but nothing else makes it stand out.

The acting wasn't great but Jared Leto and Michael Rosenbaum were able to make the movie interesting and slightly suspenseful at times. Fans of the horror/slasher genre probably have already seen this movie, like myself, but this is one to check out because it is better than most.

Definitely worth the rent.
