A return to form for Seagal after annoyingly injected Eastern mysticism and environmental elements in his other DTV films. It's nice to see him doing most of his own stunts and squinting his way through a film with a somewhat decent plot.
Way too many uses of the word motherfucker; I don't mind profanity, I mind a lack of creative writing and this film had it in spades. But that's secondary to the splendor of one man getting pummeled in the groin twelve times and surviving.
Simply awe-inspiring.
