Review of Uptown Girls (2003) by Sam — 18 Mar 2006
It's a terrible movie, but it would have been so much better if it weren't for two things, the characters, and character development. All the characters are easy to hate, with unfunny lines, poorly acted "emotional scenes" and, well, quite frankly they're wooden.
However, it would have been better if the characters had gone from dicks and sluts to nice guys and good people, or if you got the hint that any of them had learned something from Ray or Molly, but you don't, which is the worst part of an otherwise bad movie.
