Review of Upstream Color (2013) by Pietro B — 12 Jan 2014
Only a mathematician who never understood Walden could make a film this abstractly terrible. The description makes it seem as if this would be a movie that has a higher meaning that one can uncover and think deeper, like Walden.
Unfortunately even after you read the reviews and or uncover that description on your own it's really not that special anyway. For your troubles you will suffer through robotic acting, senseless dialogue, and the constant parallelism between piggies, people, and plants, all in in a grand plot to steal your freedom to choose.
Skip it and take a class in psych 101 instead.
