I am baffled that this is getting positive reviews. This movie was a train wreck. I liked Primer, but after seeing this, I like Primer less. This guy makes movies that are intentionally ambiguous and it just comes off as lazy writing.
The viewer is left to fill in the blanks, but the blanks are not compelling. The viewer is expected to focus on the closing narrative and ignore all of the shortcomings that led to it.
