Review of Upstream Color (2013) by Thomas C — 10 May 2013

I have yet to see "Primer", and from what I hear, I am pretty scared to. After viewing Shane Carruth's "Upstream Color", I was literally so confused that I am terrified that I will be never be able to understand Primer, which is reputably a very difficult time-travel film.

The thing is, though, that there was something so beautiful in it's abstractness, and even though I didn't feel that I fully understood it, I didn't feel like my time had been wasted. I thought about it for the rest of the day, and after having some of my own theories, and reading up on some internet explanations, I was ready to delve in again and had my second viewing earlier today.
