Review of Upstream Color (2013) by T-Ho N — 06 Jul 2013
Knowing "Primer" I had to mentally prepare myself to watch this movie. because, even though it is beautifully done, it demands A LOT of patience. those 90+ minutes felt more like 180, and being very confusing doesn't help either. - anyway, some thief uses worms to drug his victims in a very "angel's trumpets" kind of way. the worm somehow becomes part of the victim, which some guy likes to harvest and puts them in pigs.
I don't want to get too specific but the whole story loses me when the consequences are nonexistent. they give away all their belongings, get fired from their jobs and yet still manage to buy a house? I don't think so.
