I have to say this far too often but, don't take things so seriously. This is a good movie.

Ok, to be fair: It changes the laws of nature. Ok, that's fine. It fails to follow it's own rules constantly. Ok, that is pretty irritating. Some elements of the movie are never really explained (like why exactly almost everyone in the up world is some kind of psychotic mouth breather).

So here is the other side of to be fair: This is a fantasy movie. Take off your science nerd glasses and just enjoy the show.

I get it. I do. I'm an antisocial programmer. I like rules and logical problem solving. It takes some effort to ignore my knowledge but I do it because it allows me to enjoy things I could not otherwise enjoy. Such an arrogant society that can not get over all the things they "know". You don't really know anything do you? I know I don't.
