Upside Down takes place in a dystopia/utopia setting, and sure that sounds cool. Visually, it's kind of awesome. This film does have a cool concept and would've been okay if it was just a sci-fi & fantasy movie, but no.
It just tries to hard to be something it's not; I found it ridiculous how reliant the story is on the romance aspect. That being said, this movie is just a confusing mess that had the potential of being something really awesome.
