Review of Upside Down (2012) by Alec B — 26 Jun 2013
The plot would be cute if it was developed by a seven year old (seriously the amount of exposition and arbitrary rule making would make Christopher Nolan blush), but fully grown adults developed this and its actually kind of embarrassing to watch.
All of this seems to have been put together purely for the visual possibilities, which I would be more willing to forgive if the film had interesting visual designs. On top of those problems, Dunst and Sturgess have zero chemistry.
