Review of Upside Down (2012) by Nilesh J — 17 Jul 2013
An age old story of two lovers from two almost warring neighbours except here they are upside down. The SCI-fi part is extremely weak. Rules and technologies are changed at will to move the story along and errors are so amateurish (a world with massive modern skyscrapers and computer aided building entrances but without cell phones, without monitoring video cameras and police with ancient rifles) that the movie should ideally not be classified as a SCI-fi.
And the worst of it is that these techy stuff are the best part of the movie; the love story and acting are far weaker.
