"Upside down" it's a metaphore of north and south hemisphere, the wealthy world and the poor one down below, there are some reminiscence of a violent time in Argentina when in the down world the police get him in a green ford falcon the same cars the dictatorship police used there, a dictatorship supported by the north in their beginins.

Also has a love story that leaves a message that live together in armony is feasible. It's a great movie.
